A Price List is a collection of items with MRP & rates. Sometimes it is
required to apply different rates of items to different customers. In such
case you may create 'n' numbers
of price lists and apply the desired price
list while creating an invoice.
If Visual Catpro does not prompt you to select the price list name then add
'txpListName' input fields in Doc Inputs.
A Price list can be created by clicking on Master -> Stk Mst -> Price
List module. You may study basic functions of price list by studying the
help provided with Visual Catpro.
Visual Catpro does not allow you to make an invoice without rate of item.
In some cases this may be required to make a bill with 0(Zero) rate. In
such a case you may mark 'True' against 'DocAllowNilRate' in Doc
Types. Now you may enter items without providing their rates but the
quantity becomes free quantity so for printing you have use FreeQuantity
field instead of quantity.
You may mark 'True' against 'DocApplyLastRate' to pick the last applied
rate for any item. Last Rate here means rate last charged from any party.
Sometimes we want to pick the last rate of the item which we give to the
party. In such case you may mark 'True' against
'DocApplyPartyLastRate' to pick the last applied rate to the selected
party for the selected item.
Sometimes we want that Visual Catpro does not pick rates from price list.
In such case you may mark 'True' against 'DocNoPriceList' in Doc
Types. Now after marking this property as true it does not pick rates from
the price list, even if you are selecting the price list.
You may give item wise discount in various ways in Visual Catpro by
adding different columns.
